Credit card processing is the ability for a business to accept credit cards as a form of payment and to have that money directly deposited into the business’s Union Chequers Bank checking account. These card types may include: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express (AMEX).
Merchant services also include available services like:

- ATM sales and service

How Can I Sign Up?

How long does setup take?
It depends on what type of account you are setting up with RPS. Traditional “brick and mortar” storefront setup can take as little as 2-5 days. Mobile and website processing may take a little longer. Terminals are downloaded and tested, then delivered directly from the RPS local warehouse in Oregon, rather than a distant distribution center.
How long does it take to receive the funds in your account?
If you batch by 3:45 PM PST, funding can happen the next day. Otherwise, funding takes 48 hours with batch closures after 4:00 PM, PST.
What Kind of Contracts does RPS Have?
RPS offers long-term contracts because RPS likes to build relationships with local business members. All Merchant Service Contracts are for a minimum of three years and most carry an Early Termination Fee (usually for $500.00 - $1,500.00). If a business wishes to cancel their merchant processing, RPS asks the merchant to cover their cost of $100.00 to close out the merchant account with their processor.
How does RPS Compare with Square?
Square is a commonly known payment processing company that you’ve probably seen multiple businesses use. Square is usually an option for the non-traditional merchant who sells at farmer’s markets and craft fairs, or merchants that transact less than $5,000 a month. RPS can offer competitive rates and personal service to businesses of any size.
